As soon as you sit down – either on the terrace at the front of the building or in the well-kept dining room – you’re instantly aware of just how many customers are having something from the rotisserie. So don’t hesitate and go for the house specialty: the deliciously sweet suckling pig, along with some homemade fried potatoes. The menu offers plenty of other delights, such as veal risotto – and the cheese and ham plates are a great way to start. The restaurant is run with confidence and efficiency and there’s a palpable sense of authenticity to everything. Furthermore, the prices are terrific, which only adds to its popularity, so booking ahead is recommended.
