If you like things done the traditional way, then this former wine cellar of King Hans – who ruled Denmark, Norway and Sweden in the 15th century – is the place for you. The first restaurant in Copenhagen to earn a MICHELIN Star, 2026 marked its 50th anniversary, and the vaulted room retains an appropriately elegant and historic feel. The cooking is rooted in French gastronomy, with luxury ingredients and rich flavours showcased in dishes such as rabbit pithivier with black truffle and Jerusalem artichoke. Trolley service is a feature, whether that’s for carving or flambéing.
