With its black and white chequered floor tiles and bench seats lining the walls, Jerome is reminiscent of a snug Parisian bistro. Alexe, your hostess, supervises the front of house with seamless, classy elegance. Meticulous attention to detail prevails throughout the establishment, including in chef Van der Stappen’s authentic yet subtle Franco-Belgian repertory. The chef is particularly attentive to the plating. A standout: veal blanquette simmered in a creamy succulent sauce with meatballs, slightly tangy button mushrooms, flat-leaf parsley and house-made potato fritters.
