Ten minutes from Lisbon, in Paço de Arcos, there’s a restaurant with very clear ideas: above any other criterion, its sole aim is to make the diner happy! Housed in what was once the old Casa do Fiscal (where taxes on fish were collected), the place is led by Antônio Simões. You can enjoy the experience at the lower-floor counter (for four diners), with a view of the kitchen and the entire creative process, or in the upstairs dining room, with a contemporary look and a large panoramic window facing the mouth of the Tagus. Here, everything revolves around two seasonal menus that change every three months: one with six courses (lunch only) and another, more complete, with 10 or 12 moments. We were delighted by an Asian-rooted dish called Laksa, Marisco-Coco-Noodles, laksa with seafood, coconut and noodles!
