On the hills overlooking the town, an ancient residence transformed into a refined hospitality venue – and today home also to the estate’s own winery – receives its guests in surroundings of considerable elegance. A charm that reaches its apogee in the warmer months, when dinner is served in the evocative limonaia: a romantic panoramic terrace bathed in soft light and surrounded by lemon, orange, bergamot and mandarin trees. The kitchen engages in a dialogue with the territory, weaving together ingredients from sea and land along classical lines enriched by touches of imagination and careful presentation. Among the dishes that drew particular appreciation from our Inspector, the tortellini filled with pear and pecorino in a saffron and pistachio sauce, and the duck breast with mandarin accompanied by a celeriac tartlet.
