On arriving at the luxurious Hotel Botania, guests are accompanied to the restaurant through a park of over three hectares immersed in the most luxuriant Mediterranean vegetation: the finest possible introduction to the cuisine that awaits at Il Mirto. Here the experience unfolds across two extended tasting menus – with the option of reducing either to four freely chosen courses – one vegetarian and one vegan, with almost all the vegetables sourced from the property’s own kitchen gardens or from cultivation elsewhere on the island. Among the most representative dishes, the signature “Ris8” stands out, interpreting technique and creativity in a contemporary key. The service, too, is excellent – young and spontaneous – contributing to an evening that is a fully immersive experience in nature.
