The very name of the resort where it is situated, Petra Segreta, evokes a secluded and picturesque spot, nestled among the Mediterranean scrub that surrounds the village of San Pantaleo. Il Fuoco Sacro overlooks a magnificent garden and enjoys a spectacular view stretching all the way to the coast. Luigi Bergeretto and Alessandro Menditto are at the helm in the kitchen, offering a contemporary menu that showcases the quality of the ingredients and pays close attention to the local area. Particular emphasis is placed on the aromatic herbs and vegetables grown in the estate’s vegetable garden, which feature prominently in many dishes, while a few beehives provide a small supply of artisan honey.
