This establishment has been a familiar and beloved landmark for decades. Part of the long-established Hotel Alte Post, the restaurant serves seasonal cuisine made with regionally sourced ingredients, with dishes such as calf's head, risotto and chard, or Black Forest salmon trout and crayfish lasagne with spring vegetables, citrus-infused beurre blanc and verbena shellfish emulsion, available either as a set menu or à la carte. The wine list homes in on labels from the region. Add to that a friendly and charming atmosphere, and very attentive, solicitous service. The terrace is delightful in summer. Their contemporary-style guestrooms are ideal for an overnight stay.
