A short and pleasant stroll from the village centre, the restaurant makes an immediately favourable impression with its agreeable outdoor area, while the interiors are distinguished by an informal and welcoming atmosphere. The kitchen is not looking for special effects, it wins over its guests through taste: the dishes may appear simple, yet they reveal good ingredients and solid technique. A case in point is the cappuccino di mare, with squid and prawns accompanied by a light potato foam that brings balance and delicacy to the dish. On the wine front, the selection is broad, and the sommelier’s guidance proves invaluable in navigating a list that is predominantly Slovenian, enriched by a number of interesting European labels.
