Bar, wine shop, restaurant, and hotel: Gostilna Vovko is a historic family-run establishment that has been welcoming guests with warmth since 1977. The interiors, furnished in traditional style and centred around a wood-burning stove, create an authentic and relaxed atmosphere. The kitchen, rooted in the tradition of the Dolenjska region, follows the rhythm of the seasons and celebrates local specialties, many of them handmade, including pasta, štruklji and svaljki. The trout is offered as a refined tartare with horseradish, trout caviar and pumpkin seed oil mayonnaise, while among the meat dishes the wild boar in game sauce with cheese štruklji, buckwheat, herbs and redcurrants stands out. The wine selection is carefully curated and firmly anchored in the territory.
