This spruce restaurant blends seamlessly into the tranquil village atmosphere of the Thönse district. A feel-good dining experience is guaranteed at this warm and welcoming restaurant run with great dedication by Claudia and Hinrich Schulze. And that's to say nothing of the terrific cuisine, which comes in the form of two set menus: "Gaumenfreude" and (vegetarian) "Gartenliebe" – available in three- to seven-course variants. Classic dishes such as "Kalbstafelspitz (veal rump cap), porcini sauce, colourful Swiss chard, nut butter dumplings" bowl diners over with their excellent ingredients and meticulous craftsmanship. Under the tutelage of Claudia Schulz, the waitstaff provide friendly, proficient and professional service, including astute recommendations when it comes to drinks.
