After many successful years as co-owner of Two-Michelin-Starred Gastrologik in Stockholm, Jacob Holmström returned to his birthplace with his wife Emelie and fell in love with this fantastic building on the Tylösand headland. Its design is chic and modern, and the atmosphere laid-back – and you’ll find it hard to decide whether to keep your eyes on the view, the open kitchen or the plate in front of you. The menu opens with snacks and ‘Canned Food’ (roe and caviar), before moving onto ‘Fish from the Cabinet’ and dishes showcasing other regional ingredients such as lamb with nettle purée and artichoke.
