Since its opening several years ago, this restaurant has helped revitalize the village of Legrad in northern Croatia. Located next to the church and overlooking the main square, it features a spacious outdoor area that comes alive on summer evenings. The simple yet elegant and modern interior perfectly reflects the spirit of the cuisine: Croatian and Central European dishes made with local ingredients, authentic and clean flavors, a good dose of creativity and technique, all at very reasonable prices. Be sure to try the Royal Blade, the house signature: a sumptuous grilled selection of noble cuts of local meat – chicken, beef, pork, and veal – served with potatoes, roasted peaches, and a tomato and chili sauce. The adjoining rooms are highly appreciated by cyclists: Legrad is, in fact, the starting and finishing point of one of Croatia’s most popular and renowned cycling routes.
