Hotel Erbprinz, synonymous with classical luxury, is a true institution in the Karlsruhe area, with a long-standing reputation for excellent cuisine. Ralph Knebel and his team take a traditional approach to their cooking, incorporating international influences and reflecting the seasons. Top-quality ingredients, skilful cooking and intense flavours come together beautifully in the tender saddle of Limousin lamb with ratatouille-stuffed courgette flowers in crisp tempura and aromatic black olive gnocchi. The set menu is available in a five- to seven-course format, and individual dishes can also be ordered à la carte. Pastry chef Jasmina Knebel (the chef's wife) is also part of the team, creating refined desserts. The setting is stylish and elegant, with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the lovely terrace and its mature trees – a wonderfully relaxed place to dine in summer.
