The location is a draw in itself! Named after its address at Edlmairstraße 1, the restaurant is housed on the ninth floor of the Karl-Turm, a high-rise office building. The interior is modern and elegant, with design features such as striking lampshades suspended from an industrial-style ceiling and floor-to-ceiling windows that afford sensational views of the historic Old Town and the Danube – the sunsets from here are wonderful. The integrated bar in the entrance area is the perfect spot for a pre-dinner cocktail. The modern cuisine is based on French culinary tradition and incorporates Italian and Asian accents. You can opt for a set menu comprising five or six courses (with wine pairings on request) or order à la carte.
