Gerhard Fuchs and Christian Zach opened this tavern as a counterpoint to their fine dining restaurant. Serving seasonal dishes made with regional produce, the concept has proven to be a hit. Gerhard Fuchs brings many years of culinary experience to the table, and the team led by passionate sommelier and host Christian Zach provides attentive service with Styrian charm. Flavoursome dishes such as Leutschach pata negra pork brisket with chanterelle mushrooms and gnocchi with herbs can be accompanied by wine – the list comprises over 4 000 labels – or beer. The interior design is a modern take on rustic style, and there is also a lovely vine-covered terrace. Tip: Due to the popularity of this place, reservations are recommended. Delicious food items and wines can be purchased to take home. The name "Weinbank" is apt: you can hire lockers in which to store your fine wine purchases.
