Behind the striking red façade, the unpretentious atmosphere of a brasserie meets the standards of a MICHELIN-starred restaurant. In a beautiful setting adorned with paintings, diners sit in comfortable, stylish upholstered armchairs at polished wooden tables and savour a four- to six-course menu, available with fish and meat or in a vegetarian version. Chef-patron Vjekoslav Pavic's pleasingly pared-back style is both elegant and punchy. The quality of the ingredients is absolutely top-tier, whether it is skrei from the Lofoten Islands or Ibérico pork. Attentive service comes courtesy of a proficient front-of-house team that includes the charming proprietress and a highly experienced sommelier – they will be happy to recommend a good regional wine to accompany each course.
