Since 2011, Cuichine has gradually become a prominent fixture of the Antwerp dining scene. It sports an on-the-ball team and a distinctive modern Asian decor, without forgetting a pavement terrace at the front. The owners, who began by recreating the flavours of their childhood, have added new spins over the years. They remain true to old school Cantonese cooking, albeit in an updated, polished version. For example, Peking duck, small hot pancakes and fresh veggies, flanked by an elegant hoisin sauce or impeccably steamed seabass with shellfish and a gutsy soy sauce with black beans.
