Within the Hotel Commercio, Cinque Foglie offers a gastronomic experience, where each detail has been thoughtfully considered. The experience begins with a visit to the recently renovated cellar and a small photographic gallery dedicated to the history of Battipaglia, before continuing into a bright contemporary dining room overlooking the open kitchen. Chef Roberto Allocca interprets the local area through a technical and creative cuisine, founded on quality ingredients sourced also from the property's own kitchen garden and farm at Piana del Sele. The offering comprises the tasting menus Nostos and the vegetarian L'Orto di Francesca, alongside a generous à la carte selection. Among the most accomplished dishes, Il Canto del Mare stands out: a fillet of John Dory cooked in buffalo butter, accompanied by courgettes in two textures – gratin and carpaccio – and a bottarga emulsion.
