Run under the auspices of Angela Hartnett, it’s perhaps no surprise that the classical cooking is bright, unfussy and full of flavour. Roasted cod with minestrone is a great example, an uncomplicated yet totally satisfying dish. The glass-enclosed terrace with views over Covent Garden and the city skyline beyond is a huge draw, as is the great value lunch menu.
