In the old part of the city close to its famous docks, you’ll find this intimate, personally run restaurant where diners are split across two rooms and a small front terrace – ask for a seat by the on-view kitchen if you want to feel in on the action. The cooking is traditionally based and executed with care, exemplified by a black cherry soufflé with excellent white chocolate ice cream. Sunday roast dinners are presented as an old-school feast inspired by the chef's early restaurant experiences, with the dessert trolley being a particular throwback treat.
