Between the Drôme and Ardèche, this local landmark has been run by the Chartron family since 1946. Mathieu, the third generation, pursues the family legacy in a village famous for its Jean-Sébastien Bach Festival (July). The key to their success? Expertly crafted cuisine with quality ingredients: fillet of croaker with broad beans and leeks, grilled baby gem lettuce, wild garlic-spiked beurre blanc, or a strawberry delight of fruit compote and wild strawberry sorbet. They also offer a truffle menu in season together with a handful of cosy guestrooms.
