Housed in a charming 19th‑century farmhouse and surrounded by a magnificent garden that delights in every season, Butterfly offers a setting as enchanting as its name suggests. The glass‑enclosed veranda dining room adds further appeal: in summer it opens fully onto the lawn, offering fresh air and relaxation, while in winter it remains closed and heated, still allowing diners to enjoy views of the greenery. In the kitchen, father and son Fabrizio and Andrea Girasoli complement each other with perfect harmony, presenting a wide and versatile menu that confidently balances meat and seafood. Their impeccable technique highlights both comforting flavors of tradition – such as unforgettable Tyrrhenian scampi grilled on blazing lava stone with liquid Catalana sauce, baby radish salad, and green mango – and imaginative creations, such as a delicious cocoa cigar filled with foie gras, apple, and hazelnut, a tribute to maestro Puccini.
