Set within two charming, 18th-century sandstone cottages, this iconic Yorkshire restaurant was established back in 1962 and continues to draw in diners over six decades later. Today, the kitchen is in the care of Chef Brayden Davies, who was born in Western Australia to British parents – a background which is reflected across his tasting menu, from the barbecued 'Damper Bread' to the 'Paddle Pop' ice cream and the Jarrah honey. The service has a formal touch, but with plenty of personality from the engaging team.
