A popular place to eat! A relaxed atmosphere reigns in this inviting contemporary interior, where diners tuck into pleasingly unpretentious dishes that impress with their flavours and craftsmanship. The menu features not only traditional regional dishes, including classics such as beef tartare, but also Asian specialities in the "Thai Corner" section of the menu, such as gaeng mussaman – a mild Thai curry with peanuts and king prawns. There is also a pleasant terrace with a magnificent view of the mountains of the Bernese Oberland. Next to the restaurant, the small Hotel National has cosy guestrooms. It also has its own confectioner's.
