At La Nova Esquerra de l'Eixample, not far from Hospital Clínic Barcelona, this small restaurant offers a live culinary experience, as everything revolves around the bar, where chefs work right in front of the diners and explain how each course is prepared. Chef Omar Malpartida showcases his Japanese fusion cuisine through a single tasting menu, featuring Peruvian recipes and some local ingredients, served at an omakase-style bar. We especially liked the Peruvian ceviche and the chicken and shrimp meatballs for their tasty flavour and balance. Due to the way things work here... they ask you to please be on time!
