In the small piazza that welcomes the funicular’s arrival station – with a small public parking area right at the top of the climb – lies a venue of retro charm, with Anglo-Saxon touches and an authentic soul. It serves as both bar and restaurant, where tradition meets modern accents in generous, thoughtfully composed dishes. The undisputed stars are the meats, accompanied by bread and desserts made strictly in-house. In warmer months, service moves to the panoramic terrace, offering enchanting views over the city (and, for the more intrepid, even in winter when the sun permits). Inside, two rustic-elegant dining rooms are warmed by cordial, convivial service that completes the experience.
