A word to the wise: The best way to experience Kahraman Altun's cosy fish restaurant is to bring friends and sample as many of his traditionally prepared delicacies as possible. Afterwards, you should definitely take the time to explore the surrounding fishing village of Rumeli Kavağı (also known for its figs). This peaceful corner of Istanbul is sure to enchant you.
