A narrow road leads up to this wonderful restaurant surrounded by vineyards and boasting a pleasantly shaded terrace overlooking Lake Biel – dining al fresco here is an absolute joy! Allow yourself to be pampered by the charming front-of-house team led by maître d' Cynthia Lauper as you savour the "Menu Surprise" devised by chef-patron Marc Joshua Engel. His dishes are prepared with the utmost precision, feature creative touches and are beautifully presented. One example worth mentioning here is the guinea fowl breast, perfectly cooked until tender and served with young chanterelles, a delicate courgette cream, mildly spiced fregola sarda and a rich beurre blanc. There are also a handful of à la carte dishes. The hostess and sommelier recommends fine wines to accompany your meal – including some from the local area. Tip: Park in the restaurant car park and walk the last few metres.
