Asha Bhosle – the Indian singer, actress and gourmet who founded a string of international restaurants – passed away in 2026, but her legacy lives on at this stylish, passionately run and deservedly packed spot in the heart of Birmingham. The extensive menus span several regions, with a foundation in northwest India, and the tandoori kebabs are a speciality – order one of the enticing platters to try as many as possible. Each dish is cooked with skill and provides serious flavour, such as the superior Muscat gosht, which is a recipe from Bhosle herself.
