The latest version of AO finds itself on the lively Oxford Street in Southampton’s old town. The minimalistic interior of charcoal black immerses guests in the titular chef’s vision and his very personal dishes. There’s an affordable lunch offering alongside two lengths of tasting menu, but go for the longer version to experience Rogan’s assured, creative cooking to the full. The likes of Orkney scallop with Dorset chorizo and parsnip are built on fabulous ingredients and showcase a great understanding of flavours in their delicate balance.
