Set just off the esplanade in this popular seaside town, Angela's is an understated little bistro that makes the most of its location with a focus on local seafood. There's no meat on the menu, so expect an array of fish and shellfish instead, from the likes of oysters, scallops and squid to start, to pared-back main courses that put the focus on the high-quality produce – such as lemon sole with potted shrimps or hake with tomatoes and capers. If you're spending the weekend at the coast, there are three bedrooms available, complete with sea views.
