His father, Alfredo, laid the foundations for upscale Italian cuisine in 1973, and the second generation of the Carturan family has cultivated a straightforward and minimalist style of cooking. Without a doubt, the house classic is the pappardelle with braised duck. The charming chef-patron is on hand and will talk you through the menu in person. The atmosphere is relaxed – the focus is on pleasure. You can feel that the whole team is genuinely invested in your experience. Besides cooking, Roberto Carturan has another talent: he is a trained singer – on Friday evenings there's the "musical culinary soirée": a six-course set menu with a performance by him as the finale! One practical tip: Parking is available in the Opern Passagen shopping centre located behind the restaurant. You might also take the opportunity to see the original 4711 store with its famous carillon.
